Patrick Mercer, my amazing Pops passed away on 23rd July 1994, just 44 years of age! I was only 10 years old myself, so I dont think I really understood I shielded myself away!
He was (and still is) the best Dad by Far. He lived with me and my mum in Anfield, Liverpool. He was a Chef and also they both owned pubs. He had quite a few brothers and sisters(of which we no longer see)
I was his little (and only) girl, his princess.....and I adored him sooo soo much!
I love him sooo much and miss him both more than words could ever say! He was and will always be my world. I would give anything to have him back with me now, just 1 more cuddle. I try each day to make him proud of me and I hope he looks down and feels proud!
He was such a laugh and great to be around and always making a show of himself, but he would of done anything for me and my mum and they were so in love...i look up to them both, and wish i could of grown up with him around....
16 years on and not a day goes by I dont think of him

Pat, the quiet man that you were, the good Lord has taken you early so you could teach and help him to keep some of the noisy souls in heaven in line. just when you had found happiness in your life, you will alway's remain in our memory. Sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of making your aqaintance. Some day we will sing as a family again and you can be our roadie again. Love You, Andy
